Snetterton is a small village and civil parish in the Breckland district of Norfolk, England, covering an area of 8.94 km² (3.45 sq mi). It is located approximately 9 miles east-northeast of Thetford and 19 miles southwest of Norwich, offering a quiet rural setting with convenient access to nearby towns. According to the 2011 Census, Snetterton had a population of 201 residents living in 74 households. The village is perhaps best known for the Snetterton Circuit, a major motor racing venue that attracts visitors from across the UK. Although the circuit contributes to the area’s identity, the wider parish retains its agricultural roots, with open fields and rural landscapes defining much of its character.
